The 8th Oct rally was a wet, unpleasant day with four instructors, Bec Thomas, Alison Lee, Marjorie Radford and Chris Thompson, braving the weather to work with riders on “warm-up” exercises.
Bec Thomas gave a very informative talk at lunch time on the effects of a good warm-up and cooling-down routine on horses before and after training.
Hand outs covering an excellent diagram of muscles used, especially across your horse’s back, plus another on Basic Responses to Produce Dressage Movements and the detailed write up by Marj Radford (included) gave riders a better understanding what Bec was covering in her lecture.
Many thanks to a highly respected and knowledgeable coach.
