This month's rally saw a number of our members attending the Wallangarra ODE and also ponies attending the Margaret River Dressage weekend. (See results & photos under "OUT & ABOUT").

Coaches for Oct rally were Alison Lee, Chris Sharpe, Marjorie Radford and Chris Thompson.

The Theme was on "Balance" of both riders and horses.

Leah Annesley has the privilege of riding "Morgan" this season. Owned by the Helsemans family, Morgan is a 14hh Medium level pony trained and ridden by Allie Helsemans, who has now moved onto "Cossie", a PSG trained school master. Welcome back to Transitions Allie.

A most informative talk by Marj was given at the lunch break, on "Presentation" of both horse and rider. Covering rules that apply to equipment and the dress code for competitions, there were also useful tips on how to present your horse and what not to wear – like too much "bling"or putting the wrong colour, or to large "ear hoods" on your horses!! An interesting subject and one to be aware of.

A number of our riders attended the 2017 Australian Interschool Championships in Toowoomba Qld Sept 25th to 29th. Congratulations for representing, not only WA, but Transitions as well. The WA Team placed 4th overall. Results & photos under "Out & About"
